Barb fulfilled a life-long dream when she and her husband John moved to the Outer Banks in 1990. "Having vacationed here every summer while I was growing up," she says, "I have loved this area for as long as I can remember."
"Selling Outer Banks real estate seemed a natural thing to do. I always remember that I was a long-distance buyer and seller and an absentee rental-home owner before I moved here, and I remember the concerns that I had with long-distance transactions. My job now is to find my clients the properties that best fit their needs, anticipate and answer their concerns and questions, and guide them through the steps to a successful closing. The Outer Banks is a wonderful place, but it presents a different set of challenges for homeowners, whether they live here full-time or own vacation property and live elsewhere."

Colleen fell in love with the Outer Banks on vacation in 1989 and told her friends her goal was to live in Nags Head. In 1992 she moved to South Nags Head. “ When I moved to the Outer Banks I became involved in real estate and worked for a local property management firm. I loved finding the right vacation property for all our tourists. Now I have the opportunity to help people reach their goal of property ownership on our beautiful barrier island.”
